These terms apply when a church takes up Cultivate Church Growth's Google Ad Grant service. Cultivate Church Growth is run by William Burgess, a sole trader based in North Yorkshire. Paying our invoice means your church accepts these terms.
1. What we do
We help your church apply for Google's Ad Grant, set up enquiry tracking on your website, write and manage your adverts within Google's rules, run seasonal campaigns and send you a monthly report.
2. The fee
The fee is £4,500 per church for 12 months of service. We invoice it in full when you agree to go ahead, and it is payable by bank transfer within 14 days. Cultivate Church Growth is not VAT registered, so no VAT is added. One church means one registered charity with one Ad Grant account.
3. The Cultivate Promise
- Your 12 months start the day your adverts go live, not the day you pay.
- If Google does not approve your church for the Ad Grant, we refund the fee in full.
- You can pause the service for up to two months in each 12-month period, for example between ministers or during building work. Tell us by email. The paused months are added to the end of your year. During a pause we keep the grant account active.
4. Your accounts
Your church owns its Google for Nonprofits, Google Ads and Analytics accounts. We are given access as a manager, and you can remove that access at any time.
5. What we need from you
- An hour for the Google verification call, and someone authorised to act for the church.
- Service times, events, photos and access to your website, or contact with whoever runs it.
- Someone to follow up with people who plan a visit.
6. What we cannot promise
Google runs the Ad Grant programme, decides who is approved and can change its rules. We cannot guarantee a number of visitors or enquiries. We are independent and not affiliated with Google.
7. Ending the service
The fee covers a full 12 months. Once your adverts are live it is not refundable, apart from under the Cultivate Promise. If we ever have to end the service early, we refund the unused months.
8. Renewal
Nothing renews automatically. Around month 10 we will review the year with you and, if you would like to continue, send an invoice for the next 12 months.

We handle personal information as set out in our privacy notice.
10. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
